What’s inside

Seven modules, three volumes,
one clear path

You start in the round pen, building a horse that respects your space. You finish out the gate, on ground nobody set up for you. Everything you want in the saddle, you build on the ground first.

Volume I - In The Round Pen, with lesson pages
Volume one

In the round pen

Trust, respect and control before the saddle. This is where the next eight weeks are decided.

01
How a Horse Thinks Pressure and release, what he's actually reacting to, fear and relaxation — and why he did that.
02
Groundwork That Transfers Round pen work, yielding hindquarters and forequarters, desensitizing, leading, longing. 40+ exercises, each building on the last.
03
Leadership Without a Fight Timing, consistency, the quiet correction, and what to do instead of escalating.
Volume II - Under Saddle, with lesson pages
Volume two

Under saddle

Seat, hands, and the one-handed rein — in the order that actually holds up.

04
The Western Seat Position, weight, legs and hands, split reins and romal reins, and the move from direct reining to neck reining.
05
Jog, Lope and the Soft Feel Gaits, transitions, leads, straightness, collection the western way — and what a soft feel is and isn't.
Volume III - Out The Gate, with lesson pages
Volume three

Out the gate

The horse you can take anywhere — and a plan for the twelve months after this one.

06
Patterns, Obstacles and Real Ground Showmanship, horsemanship, trail and ranch riding patterns. Gates, bridges, tarps. And the trail outside the arena.
07
When It Goes Wrong Fixing what you taught wrong, stopping habits before they set, and building your own plan for the next twelve months.
Plus

60 western patterns, and you can find the one you need

Not a hundred patterns in a pile. Four disciplines, three levels, five patterns each — so you always know which one comes next.
Showmanship · Horsemanship · Trail · Ranch Riding

Full arena diagram, every step numbered Gait marked in the line itself The maneuvers, in order What the judge is looking for Three common faults, and the cause How to break it down when it falls apart
60 western patterns with numbered arena diagrams

Three bonuses for the parts
the lessons don’t cover

Yours at no extra cost — until the end of the month

Not filler. Each one answers something western riders deal with constantly — and none of it is buried inside the main modules.

What riders said
after twelve weeks

Before you decide

Questions riders ask us

How do I get it after I buy?+

Immediately. The moment payment goes through you get every file — all three volumes, the 60 patterns, the twelve-week program and the three bonuses. Nothing ships, nothing arrives later, there's no waiting period.

I ride western but I don’t show. Is this for me?+

That's most of the people it was written for. The patterns are there if you want them, but the program is built around a horse that stops, turns, stands and goes out on the trail without a fight. Nine of the twelve weeks have nothing to do with a show pen.

My horse is already broke. Is this too basic?+

Start at week five if the groundwork is genuinely solid. Most riders who tell us that find something in weeks one to four anyway, usually in the yielding work. The checks will tell you honestly — that's what they're for.

I’ve been riding for twenty years. Is there anything here for me?+

Volumes I and II will read as a structured refresher. The value for you is in Module 5, Module 6 and the 60 patterns — collection and the soft feel, real ground outside the arena, and patterns graded by level. If you've been riding twenty years without a written plan, the twelve weeks is the part that's new.

Do I need a round pen or an arena?+

A round pen helps in weeks one to four but isn't required — every exercise has an alternative for a flat, fenced space. Weeks nine to twelve are deliberately built for open ground, not an arena.

Can I do this without a trainer?+

That's the whole premise. Every session tells you what to watch for, and every week ends in a check written so you can judge your own work. It doesn't replace a good trainer. It replaces guessing.

English or western — which one should I buy?+

This one if you ride in a western saddle. The Complete Horse Mastery System if you ride English. The groundwork overlaps; everything from the saddle up does not. Buying one is enough.

Can I use this with my students?+

You can teach from it and print the pages you need for your own lessons. What you can't do is redistribute or resell the files. A licensed edition for riding programmes is coming; this isn't it yet.

Can I print it?+

All of it. It's laid out A4 and designed for it — the patterns, the ride log and the quick-reference sheets are meant to be printed and taken to the barn. Every diagram still reads in black and white.
